A description of all the excitement of Christmas weekend, including flat tires, presents, religious services, and presents!

Don’t let anyone tell you knitting your own stuff is a way to save money. It isn’t. First of all, the yarn costs as much, if not more, than anything similar you buy in the store, then if you add in the cost of time to make the item, you’re looking at something you could buy for $10 in Target costing you $30 - $40. But that’s not why I knit….

Everyone told me putting together a wedding would be stressful. I thought the were talking the week of. Silly me didn’t know the entire process is just a big stress knot winding itself through my middle.

I’m actually writing this post in twothree sittings, on purpose. My appointments for the week are in full swing, and my final one is tonight, so I’m going to finish this up when I get home from it. There have been some disappointments this week already, and some pleasant surprises, some of which I will talk about below.

If there is one person whom you haven’t been in contact with in a while, and chose to get in touch with over the holidays, who would it be, and how would you start the conversation?

What is one thing you’ve always wanted to do during the holiday season, but haven’t done thus far?

My goal is to wrap up the appointments and book the rabbi, photographer and florist by Christmas. Here’s to hoping.

What is your favorite Christmas (Winter/Holiday) scent?
