I made a call to a local attorney about estate planning and setting up a revokable trust. We’ll see if she can do anything for me. Based on my current assets plus what I’d get for life insurance, it looks like I should be in a decent place financially. Good news for my heirs (my sister, actually), my student loan would be discharged 100% on my death, so she’d only have to pay back my credit cards (hopefully I don’t die by next year anyhow), car loan (done with that at the end of 2008 anyhow), and mortgage.
