Another Cat 5 hurricane in the Gulf. Another threat to oil rigs. Another city being evacuated. What does this mean to me personally? Gas prices are due to rise again. It’s probably not a bad idea to top off the gas tank today. According to Reuters, oil is already up to $68 a barrel, about $1.21 up from yesterday’s market close. I expect, like Katrina, the gas stations will reflect this sooner rather than later.
