WordPress Upgrade
Published by Elana May 10th, 2005 in Site Admin, Tech, WordPress.WordPress has released an upgrade to version 1.5.1. I updated my site last night and it took all of 15 minutes to do so. All my hacks should be intact, including the RSS hack for the comment count and the extended text notification. While I was added I removed the trenscaspammers plug-in in favor of two workarounds which are supposed to work better (brought to my attention by Mark Jaquith, who developed the Gravatar Signup plug-in, which allows you to directly sign up for a Gravatar icon from any comment screen in WordPress). So here are all the new plug-ins on my website:
+ New Plug-insI added Related Entries a couple of days ago, but I’m still not sure it’s working as it’s supposed to.
While I was added, I put in a new sidebar box with all the plug-ins on the site listed. They’re also added to my full link list. This includes my hacks of existing plug-ins and my hack of the RSS feed.
Here’s a complete list of plugins on my website (this list will continuously update as well):

i updated my wordpress to 2.0.5 and not all plugins function thereby.
your captcha does not function.
Actually, my captcha functions, but your comment was flagged by Spam Karma because you’re posting comments on a posting that is well over a year old. I had to manually moderate these comments due to this. Since I get hundreds of spam comments, I often miss flagged comments and it can take up to a week for me to moderate them.
This post is about the release 1.5.1 not 2.0.5. If you’re having problems with a specific plug-in and version 2.0.5, I suggest you go to wordpress.org or the plug-in owner’s website and contact the owner directly.
If you’re having problems with one of my plug-ins, please go to the plug-in page of the plug-in in question and contact me there with your exact error messages. Thank you.
