I Must Be Getting Old

Happy 2005!

My New Year’s Eve was a bit anti-climatic. I had big plans. Really, I did. In the afternoon, I went to help with the New England Anime Society’s participation in First Night Boston. (I got a nice SMS from LoopyChew too when it hit New Year’s in Geneva) I left First Night around 7:30 pm and headed via T up to meet Carl so we could go out to dinner at The Naked Fish in Saugus. We had an 8:45 pm reservation. We then headed home and got there around 10 pm. Plenty of time to spare.

The big plan was to go out to the harbor and watch the Boston fireworks at midnight. That plan was mitigated by the fact we fell asleep. That’s right. I slept through New Years. Old well. I did wake up with the fireworks went off and people started yelling. Other than that, I guess New Year’s Eve is a bit overrated anyhow, right?
