CLAMP Campus Adventures

I got stuck in 1/2 hour of traffic getting into the Ted Williams this morning. It made my normally 35 minute commute into 1.5 hours. Why? It seems while I was traipzing around Europe, they decided to reconfigure Rt 1A again. See my badly drawn diagrams from the before and after…

What happened? Well, now instead of the splitting into equal 2 lanes left and right for each tunnel, both tunnels now have to go to the left. The traffic from the Sumner has to go into one lane to the right from there and the traffic for the Ted Williams has to then merge into a single lane to go through the construction. I’ll be taking the Tobin Bridge for awhile.
