Always Good to Know
Published by Elana January 22nd, 2004 in MBA, Random Ramblings.Note: The semester officially started on Tuesday.
My class schedule as of yesterday evening:
Tuesdays: 7 - 8:30 pm Online chat session
Thursdays: 7:15 - 10:55 pm Classroom Class
This morning at 8:30 am, an email arrived in my Suffolk Webmail account indicating my Thursday class was cancelled. What day is it today? That’s right Thursday. So now I have been given less than 24 hours notice that the class that was supposed to be this evening is cancelled. And they’re damn lucky I even checked my email. I usually only check that account at home, but my other prof was supposed to send me something, so I took a peek this afternoon at about 2 pm.
My class schedule as of this afternoon:
Tuesdays: 7 - 8:30 pm Online chat session
Wednesdays: 7:15 - 10:55 pm7:30 pm - 8:30 pm (oops) Online chat session
I was lucky to find an ISOM class (my concentration for my MBA) available. Unfortunately, because it’s a Wednesday course, I’ve missed the first session. If Suffolk had given me sufficient notice, that would not be a problem. However, it’s Thursday.
To add insult to injury, I have to go on a 4 day business trip next week. This involved upgrading some servers on the client’s website. So, now there’s a slight possibility that I might miss next week’s class too. Missing the first two sessions sucks monkey balls! I’ve contacted the prof and I hope she’s understanding.
