CLAMP Campus Adventures

It’s been awhile since I’d done a “real” posting. Things have been busy. Then again, things are always busy. There’s things like school, Anime Boston, school, real life, parents, etc.

I’ve got a paper to do by Monday and a test to take by Sunday, then I’m done with the school thing until January.

Anime Boston is ongoing (it always is) :).

I’ve been on one business trip in the past couple of months, to Nashville. The guy who calls me “Lil Fella” was thankfully out of the office.

I had a 3 hour commute in last Tuesday.

The company Christmas party was postponed due to snow and will now “most likely” take place in late January.

It took me 2 hours to clear the 22 inches of snow off my car on Monday which means I didn’t leave for work until 9 am, and then it too me another 40 minutes to get out of town because they’d closed one of the two roads leading out.

It took me 90 minutes to get in on Tuesday because the plows didn’t fully clear all the lanes on Rt 16 through Revere, Everett and Malden.

I took the MA Turnpike today and that fixed my commute, but cost me a couple of bucks to go through the Ted Williams and get off at Brighton.

My back is dead from shoveling snow. This morning I woke up, stretched, and heard *CRACK*CRACK*CRACK*. It’s been like that since Monday.

Good things…

Saw Mike N. last week for dinner as he was in town for training. I haven’t seen him since Liz’s wedding and it was real good to see him and pictures of his son!

The AnimeOnDVD.com Christmas Party in on Saturday.

Christmas plans…

Going to Maine to visit Carl’s family for Christmas Eve through Christmas Day. Returning to Boston on Christmas Day Eve and going to work on the 26th since Carl has to work anyhow and I’d rather save the vacation day. That evening after Carl’s done with work, we’re driving down to my parents in NJ. We’ll spend Saturday in South Jersey visiting my family (Shenton Family Christmas) and then leave NJ on Sunday afternoon around noon to get back to Boston at a reasonable hour.

The New England Anime Society, the backer of Anime Boston, has been asked by First Night Boston to run an anime themed room at First Night. We’ll be at the Hynes so stop on by if you’re taking part of the First Night activities! Rumor has it that a certain Digimon character might be present!
