I recognize your right to move. I even recognize your right to move into my building. I do not recognize your right to make insane amounts of noise moving your furniture at 12:30 am on a weeknight when I have to get up at 6:45 am to go to work the next day. I do not recognize your right to block the staircase down to my apartment with your old furniture so I have to move it after a long day of work and with my arms full of grocery bags!

Let’s just say the following note went up on the apartment bulletin board:

I even signed it, although I am the only basement apartment.
